Artist Statement—Ezra Macica

My work is driven by my passion to create my very best in my art pieces. I like to capture the textures and atmosphere of every component in my artwork. Whether in a carefully detailed pencil drawing or a fully animated CGI environment, I strive to create a visually rich, immersive outcome. I am drawn to the dramatic contrasts of bright highlights and dark silhouettes, using lighting to guide the eye and set the mood.  Animation and 3D modeling allow me to take this a step further, crafting scenes that move, breathe, and exist beyond a single frame. With a strong interest in sci-fi and medieval aesthetics, my work is a balance of precision, creativity, and the pursuit of making every art piece and space feel alive.
